I had asked the breeder to please send me a picture of the pups. When after a week I hadn't heard from her, I emailed her. She almost immediately emailed back telling me that the bitch had had an infection that spread to the pups. And my puppy died. Four of the eight died. She's now hand feeding the remaining pups of which there is one red and white male. I don't know what else to say. My luck

Well, it's a new year. I hope it's better for everyone then last year was. I know that I'll lose my Kineely this year. For that it's not better. But in a few weeks my new Basset Hound could be born. It's been two months since I lost him. But I feel it like it was yesterday. I cry and I cry for him. He was my constant companion, my kissy dog. My little Schmocker Schmaniel. He was so hard to get. And I lost him too soon. The way my Irish Setter, Kineely has aged since I lost Oscar is amazing. He misses him too. And the kitties...the kitties loved Oscar. I have always been a big dog person.
